The owners were kind and helpful, and Alpenhorn is where we’d choose to stay next time we’re back in Mount Beauty. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s only a minute’s drive from town, which made it a great base for exploring nearby places. We even watched a wild storm roll over the hills from the balcony. The view was breathtaking.

We spent a couple of weeks here as a group, checking out the cycling trails nearby. Annick & Nick looked after us so well, showed us around, and even joined us for a few rides in the highlands. The rooms were spotless and nicely set up, and the kitchens had every utensil we could think of, right down to cling wrap, so groceries were all we needed to buy. The laundry, BBQ, and pool were kept in immaculate shape. Great value. We can’t wait to come back 😊

Our stay was so enjoyable that we added an extra day, thanks in part to the host’s warm hospitality and all the useful tips about activities and the weather. There’s a nice restaurant across the road, and the service was friendly. The place was clean, spacious, and had plenty of storage, with beautiful views too. It sounds like a lovely spot any time of year.

The mountain views were fantastic, and the drying room came in very handy when the weather was bad during our Falls Creek weekend. We found the accommodation really comfortable. The owners were great about helping me fix the dates after I’d booked the wrong ones, and they also managed a very late check-in for us. I’d happily recommend Alpenhorn and will definitely stay again.

The owners were lovely and always willing to help. When we realised we’d forgotten a helmet for our son, they lent us one. The apartment was very well equipped and we had a really nice stay. The owner mentioned air conditioning was the next project, but the air was so good that we didn’t need it.
