The bed lived up to the “best beds” claim, and the room was well appointed with really hot water. The young manager couple were nice too. Our only issue was some noise from the main road on a warm night when we had the window open. There wasn't much traffic noise, just the occasional truck or noisy ute, but I'm not used to vehicle sounds at night, so it woke me.

The room disappointed us. There was a coffee mark on the bedside table, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned. The toilet roll was almost empty, though folded neatly on the holder. The door had a push-button lock, but the deadlock had been broken off. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the TV only had news channels. The kids thought it was really crappy.

Standard motel accommodation at a fair price. It was clean and comfortable, and an easy walk to Coles Supermarket. Nothing to dislike.

The manager was very kind. I wanted a queen bed because I'm tall, but none was available, so he adjusted the rate on a twin room for one person. You couldn't ask for a nicer gesture. It was even more impressive when I learned he later rushed his wife to the hospital at 11pm for the birth of their child. Sir, I hope your wife and little one are doing well. Cheers, and enjoy. The motel itself was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a good room and plenty of tea and coffee.

Had a nice stay here. The place was comfortable, clean, affordable, and close to town.
