The Oak Room 521

Loved it! There are plenty of dining options right outside, and parking is free across the way. Check-in was quick and easy. We only stayed one night, but the ocean view was jaw-dropping. The room was extremely spacious, with separate areas you can close off when needed. There’s also a kitchenette and full laundry, which we didn’t use but would be great for a longer stay.

The price has gone up, but the service has slipped, which is disappointing since we used to like staying here for the great location. Our room looked tired and wasn’t as clean as on previous visits. We were given just two towels for three nights, and when we asked for fresh ones, we were told to wash them in the room’s washing machine and dryer. For what we paid per day, I expected fresh linen. It feels like this place has gone downhill.

Room 206 had a beautiful view and was thoughtfully organised. There were lovely complimentary extras, including snacks, breakfast cereal, milk, and a few other surprises. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you to the wonderful Barnard family. ❤️

We stayed in the AAA apartments and loved having a washer, dryer, and small full-sized fridge. It’s a top spot for a few days on the coast with kids, especially if you’re getting away from Sydney. There’s a built-in carnival right outside the door. We’ll definitely be back! 🩷🩷⚘️⚘️🙌🏼🙌🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
