Noah Creek Eco Huts

I booked for the walking trails, and they were amazing. You could easily spend four or five days wandering the grounds and surrounding area, which is absolutely beautiful. The eco huts are really cool and spaced far enough apart that you can’t hear the neighbours. Loved the outdoor showers, too. The camp kitchen is nicely set up, with a tub for each hut to store food, and it has Wi-Fi if you need it. The woman who greeted us stayed up late for our late arrival, which was very kind. I’d stay here again when I have more time in the area.

We expected a decent glamping hut in a lovely spot, but Noah's Creek turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The setting is incredibly beautiful and tranquil, and the cabin felt almost luxurious while still feeling private. The communal kitchen was fully stocked and super cute, too. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were lovely and helpful. There’s a special feeling to the place that’s best discovered when you arrive, so I won’t give too much away. With only a limited number of spaces, it’s clear the owners and staff care about looking after their sanctuary. I highly recommend Noah Creek Eco-Retreat for a chance to immerse yourself in one of the world’s most beautiful rainforests. Staying here felt like being far away from everything.

The caretaker was so nice and patiently answered all our questions. She encouraged me to try the Mt sorrow hike despite the rain, saying it was part of the rainforest experience, and arranged a crocodile tour too, though we skipped it after the long hike. We followed her suggestion to take a night walk and saw colorful spiders, insects and frogs. The kitchen was clean and well equipped for cooking dinner, and the open showers were lovely. We also had a swim in the creek’s swimming hole. The location is peaceful, with lots of trees and a creek behind the huts. It’s about 15 minutes from cape tribulation, and the eco huts were just right for a budget friendly stay.

It felt like we were right in the rainforest, and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed the walk to Noah’s creek and its swimming hole, and cooking in the outdoor kitchen was fun. The hosts were lovely and very kind to offer me an upgrade.
