The little details made this summer family getaway feel special, especially the games and teddy left out for our kids. Julie and the team made us feel welcome, almost like family, and they were very accommodating when we needed to change our booking. The lodge was clean and cozy, with enough space for three adults and two kids. It dates back to the mid-1960s, which gives it a lot of distinctive character, and the facilities were well maintained. From the time we booked, the customer service was exceptional. We had such a memorable, stress-free stay and will definitely return. Thanks to the whole team. We’d highly recommend it to families.

The views were amazing, and the beds were super comfy. Julie, the manager and host, was lovely and helpful. There’s excellent heating, a drying room and secure ski storage, and the Thredbo shuttle stops right at the top of the driveway. We’ll stay again and highly recommend it.

I had a lovely stay at Kasees in autumn. My room looked out onto beautiful mountain views, and the lodge is close to the town centre and chairlift. The room was warm and the bed comfortable.

The man who helped us with the room was really lovely, and the lodge itself is cute, though it could use some updates. We came at the start of March, and the room was very warm with just one fan and no smart TV. The woman at reception wasn’t welcoming when we arrived. She knocked on our door a few times about an alleged shower leak, but we’re a family of three and, well, we had to shower. We checked out after one night instead of staying the planned two. If you have kids, maybe choose a different lodge.

The owner came out and chatted with us one evening, and he was lovely. We’ve stayed at this lodge before, and it’s very convenient for skiing, with a kitchen and an easy setup for families. But the reception we got was frosty, almost rude, and other families in our group felt the same way. It happened on our last visit too. We couldn’t figure out how simply arriving at the door had upset the lady so much.
