The staff were wonderful. The rooms were spacious and clean, though they showed quite a bit of wear and tear. Even though the motel sits on the main road and there's a lot of noise outside, you can't hear it once you're in the room, which was fantastic. Impressive for a motel, and a great option.

The motel is an easy walk from the golf course, and the club can order an Uber back if you need one. Parking isn't allocated, but you can use any open spot. Check-out was quick, I just left the key cards at reception. Check-in was easy, and they don't charge your card until you arrive in person, which I liked. But the room was disappointing. When we entered, there were over 40 moths and several mosquitoes flying around. I called reception, and to their credit, staff quickly brought fly spray. There was a single and a double bed, but when the top sheet came away, the blanket underneath had several yellow stains, each about the size of a hand. Pretty unpleasant. The towels were tiny, and the toilet didn't look properly cleaned, with what seemed like dried urine around the back of the seat. The location is handy, but the cleanliness and condition need serious attention before I'd stay again.

The only downside was that my room faced west, so the sunset beamed straight in. Apart from that, it was comfortable, and I was quite pleased with the service and staff.

The stairs are steep, and when I requested a ground-floor unit, one wasn't available because of spring cleaning. Maybe a lift or dumbwaiter should have been included when the place was built.

The rooms were amazing, everything was nice and clean except the air conditioning, but we fixed it. Room service was great, though we only got one pillow 🤣.
