The kitchen is well equipped and really clean, and the bedrooms have single beds with towels provided. The Buyers has a lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff, and sits right beside the beach. Great value for money. I’d happily recommend this hostel/motel.

It’s a quiet, laid-back place where many guests seem to be staying long term and mostly keep to themselves or small groups. The staff were helpful, and there are plenty of pamphlets for tourists looking for ideas or assistance. I’m sure they’d be happy to help even if you’re not staying there. The room was what I expected, clean, with its own fridge and cupboard space. The bed was average, and the floor could use a proper scrub. I gave the room three stars for that reason. There is an outdoor area, though people smoke there. If you don’t smoke or don’t want to sit around smoke, that’s worth knowing before booking. The only other spot to eat outside is a tiny table with folding chairs beside the kitchen, where some people smoke too. It’s not your typical hostel.

The only drawback for us was the room. It had a ceiling fan but no air conditioning, so it took ages to cool down in the evening. Otherwise, everything was great for our short stay. It’s a lovely hostel in a great spot, and the kitchen has pretty much everything you could need.

There’s plenty of shared space, including a large kitchen, barbecue area, big TV and pool. It’s also close to the beach, boat hire, shops and the bus, with bike hire available. Our room and bed were comfortable, and it had a ceiling fan and free Wi-Fi. The shared bathrooms were spacious and clean. Cooked food and drinks were available to buy most of the time. The lock on our room didn’t work very well. Overall, it met our expectations for budget accommodation.
