We had a really spacious, comfortable one-bedroom unit at Shelly Bay Resort, with a kitchen that had everything we could possibly need. There’s secure underground parking, and key fobs operate the lifts. The beach is right across the road. With so many places to stay in Hervey Bay, we weren’t sure what to choose, but we weren’t disappointed. I’d recommend giving this resort a go on your next trip.

The staff were always pleasant and helpful, and the room had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Shelly Bay Resort was so clean and tidy. I really hope to come back next year. Returning guests are probably the best recommendation a motel can get!

We had such a good time here. The water view was great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There are fantastic restaurants and cafes close by, and we especially loved Nilmas, the Indian restaurant directly downstairs. I can’t overstate how much I enjoyed this accommodation.

We had a relaxing three-night stay at Shelley Bar resort recently. The unit was clean and modern, and the on-site staff made our stay much better. The location is perfect, with a lovely coffee shop just a two-minute walk away. The bay is right out front for a swim, or there’s a clean pool, and the car parking is secure and undercover. We’ll definitely return soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights here. Every room has a view of the beach through the trees, and I loved swimming in the warm pool most mornings. It was just right for what we needed. My only suggestions would be to provide a hand towel for the kitchen and nicer towels for the bathroom.
