The Black Bull Motel

The owner was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated all the little extras: real milk for tea, a toaster, cutlery, toiletries, wine glasses and a microwave. The remodelled rooms are really good, with a comfortable bed, clean space and great shower. It's a comfortable motel, and I'd absolutely stay again. 5/5.

We left a festival at Lardner Park because of the rain and needed somewhere for the night. We couldn't get there before the office closed, but Sue made sure we could get into our rooms easily, with the heaters already on. That was lovely after such chaotic days. The staff were incredibly accommodating, the shower pressure was great, and the beds were comfy. Fantastic value. I'd recommend this motel to anyone.

Paul and Sue have put real care into providing friendly, high-quality accommodation in Traralgon. The staff were welcoming, and I loved the sustainability touches, like refillable soap and shampoo bottles in the room and reminders in the breakfast room to avoid food waste. The room was fresh, clean and comfortable, with plenty of pillows and cushions to choose from. So far, this is the best motel I've stayed at. I hope to come back in warmer weather to try the pool, which looks very inviting. See you again soon.

I spent one night here and had a great stay. Service was excellent and breakfast was perfect. I'd happily come back.
