The cabin was older, but clean, well equipped, and laid out very well. We enjoyed our stay, especially with the shops and Maria Island ferry terminal so close by. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in this area.

The sites are very small and really only suit motorhomes. For $49 a night (p&w), showers cost extra, and the park has just two showers and two ladies’ toilets. I wish I’d known before staying. There’s a free camp on the foreshore, and a laundromat with showers, so I’ll stay there next time. It’s a very small caravan park and very expensive.

The park manager was lovely, welcoming, and accommodating, so the service was great. IGA and the local pub are within walking distance. The shower block is dated but clean, and I wasn’t happy about having to pay for a shower on top of the site rate. It’s really just somewhere to park the caravan for the night, not a place to stay for anything beyond sleep.

The location is convenient for catching the ferry to Maria Island. The cabin had everything we needed, apart from an oven, and was generally clean. But the bathroom needs a major overhaul, with mould in the grout throughout the shower. I didn’t expect a lot, but the price felt too high for the quality.

Cute camp kitchen and toilet and shower facilities, and a nice campsite. A good location for a day trip to Maria Island!
