The rooms were clean and looked after, and the spot by the Tweed River is easy to reach from the old Pacific Highway. It feels like a well-kept secret on the edge of the Tweed.

The rooms are simple, but had everything we needed for a few nights away. The bed was really comfortable, and the river is right across the road.

A takeaway shop is only a short walk away, and our room was tidy and clean. There wasn't a bathroom sink, though, so shaving and washing meant using the kitchen sink. My wife's evening shower turned almost cold straight away, but mine was hot in the morning. Maybe there was an air lock in the system.

The pool was regularly cleaned and the water was crystal clear. We also found the management friendly and efficient, and the beds very comfortable. The rooms are clean and well equipped, including a full-size fridge/freezer, and the air conditioning worked really well. Water pressure stayed strong without fluctuating. It's right on the Tweed River, and we'll definitely stay again.
