The calm, luxurious feel made it easy to properly unwind, and the facilities were beautifully kept. We spent a couple of nights here over New Year’s Eve and left feeling refreshed. The staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. A lovely couples’ escape, and we’re already keen to return.

Cliff, Susan and their family made us feel so welcome during our first wedding anniversary stay with my wife. The retreat is even more impressive in person than in the photos, and the setting is beautiful. We loved the food and drinks too. It was such a fantastic experience that we’d give it more than five stars if we could, and we’re grateful to the family. We’ll definitely come back.

The Lotus Suite’s jacuzzi, looking out over the hinterland, was a real highlight, along with the deep bath and incredibly comfortable bed. My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at Jodha Bai Retreat, and Cliff & Susan greeted us and showed us around when we arrived. The work behind creating this ‘Indian Palace’ is amazing. We highly recommend staying here.

Cliff and Susan were warm and helpful from the minute I arrived, and hearing the story behind the retreat made the stay even more special. Even the history of the pillars and Cliff and Susan’s beautiful love story were extraordinary. I wanted to give my partner a break from work, and he enjoyed every minute. The time away brought us closer together, and the service went well beyond what I expected.

Cliff and Susan thought of everything, from lovely scented candles and cool welcome flannels to a refreshing drink and delicious food. Nothing was too much trouble, and they do it all with so much care. We were there for a business trip, and I’ve never had the chance to stay in a home like this before. They’ve also got plenty of great stories. Highly, highly recommend.
