Twin Dolphins Holiday Park

I’m local and have been coming here for 2&1/2yrs, and I deliver to the holiday park. At first I thought the location was great, but the place looked outdated and unappealing for such a gorgeous area. Over the last 12months it’s become much more welcoming, tidier, and professionally run. Manager Fiona Weston has done a fantastic job running it like a business while keeping a polite, professional approach and maintaining the park properly. Belinda, who juggles cleaning and filling in with office work, is a real credit too. People who take pride in their work and do it well keep a business going. Please look after these employees and keep them, they’re a great asset.

We’ve been here 3 or 4 times and will come back. The park is in Tuncurry, with clubs and pubs offering a courtesy bus that picks up at the entrance, but the back end feels like bushland, so it’s quiet and peaceful, with lots of birds, especially kookies. The amenities are tidy and very clean, and the price is affordable. Service is excellent, and everyone is helpful and friendly.

I went to the Post Office and filed a complaint after leaving the park. My parcel had been accidentally delivered there two weeks earlier, and when I called yesterday to ask about it, I found the office girls hadn’t tried to return it to Australia Post. They said they were too busy to take it back. When I asked why they hadn’t given it to the Postie, they replied that he wouldn’t take it. They had an answer for everything, but they weren’t being truthful. They were also holding a parcel belonging to another unsuspecting person.

The park is good, in a great location, and lovely for kids. We had a pleasant stay, apart from a strange water pipe above our pool view room that made noise all night.
