Mantra MacArthur Canberra

I had a nice stay, and the staff were helpful. For anyone looking at the accessible room, it was large, with lifts and a drop-off and pickup area outside. The furniture was lightweight and could be moved for wheelchair access. There was a roll-in bathroom and shower with a fold-down seat, grab handles by the toilet, and a small towel trolley that could be shifted to make more room. Space beside the bed was limited for a wheelchair or walker, though moving the bed further to one side might create more room. The kitchenette had a microwave, tea and coffee facilities, a sink, and a mini fridge. There was no hot plate, so cooking wasn’t possible, but food could be warmed up. I couldn’t find the TV remote, the hand soap pump didn’t work, and there was a strange green stain on the carpet. Street parking was free in the evenings but more restricted during the day. I’d stay again.

We enjoyed our dinners at Podilato restaurant, where chef Tri and the kitchen staff made delicious food, and the service team looked after us. The perfectly cooked dishes still linger in my mind. Breakfast chef Tshering served fresh eggs each morning, and Jasmine made an excellent takeaway coffee. We’ll need coffee even if we’re just driving through. The reception team, Amy, Uvin, Nell, Nadira, and Ishwar, were friendly and gave great service during our memorable four-night stay at Mantra MacArthur, Canberra. A few small maintenance issues came up and Dean dealt with them straight away. Sonya also deserves a big thank you for her customer service, work ethic, and leadership in managing the team. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

We stayed one night on 26th December in rooms 402 and 422 with 5 pax, and found the rooms clean, spacious, and comfortable. Mantra MacArthur Canberra is in an amazing location, and the friendly staff were always ready to help and made us feel welcome. Breakfast had a great variety and was excellent quality. The staff were really helpful and service was great. Breakfast was good, though after 5 days of the same thing it got to be a bit much, and I would’ve liked some variety. The hotel rooms felt a little outdated, but we got one with a kitchenette, which was great for the extra space and table and chairs. The location was perfect for us with a car, and the light rail is literally across the road.
