Our ground-floor room was cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed, and it was pet friendly. The man at reception was welcoming, helpful, and really friendly. It's on a busy road, but close to everything and reasonably priced. I'll come back again.

The price was very reasonable, and they helped me check in even though I booked at the last minute and arrived late. The room was clean and, above all, quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. My only small criticism is that the pillows are too soft.

Reception gave wonderful service and called to check on me when I was running late, since I'd forgotten about the one-hour time difference driving down from Brisbane airport. It's easy to find for a quick stopover, with a hot shower and secure parking behind a big metal gate. The place is a little tired and run down, but clean and has what you need.

The room was reasonable for the price of an overnight stay, and the owner was friendly when I arrived around dusk. For a budget hotel, the car gate is a sensible security feature, so you can't just walk in from the street. The location is decent, about a 10-15 minute walk to Twin Towns. I did notice the lock on the window grill wasn't working, and that could be fixed.

The owners matched a cheaper online rate when I called, and they met me at check-in and made me feel welcome. I had a great one-night stay. The room was simple, clean, tidy, and a bit bigger than many in this price range. There's a nice-looking pool, though I didn't swim. A laundromat is next door, shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and there's gated off-street parking. I'd definitely stay again.
