The location was great and the facilities were amazing. Our kids had so much fun, but the room was filthy. The floors were so dirty they turned our feet black. It seemed like they only got a quick vacuum between guests and were never mopped. We couldn’t wait to leave because the room just made us feel dirty.

Our campsite was close to the beach, amenities and camping kitchen. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the kitchen had a hot plate, fridge, air fryer, oven, electric kettle and stovetop. We were lucky it wasn’t too busy while we were there. It was my son’s and my first camping trip at the Nrma Ocean Beach holiday resort, and we had a wonderful time. The water slides were free, we brought our own paddleboard for the creek, go-karts cost extra, and pickle ball at the tennis court was free.

The service was on another level, and the friendly staff made the holiday even better. The rooms were very clean, and the pools, including the kids’ section, were great. We can’t get enough of the water slide. This has become our go-to holiday spot, with the beach just a one-minute walk away.

The children had so many fun activities, and the clean amenities, great coffee, water slides and two pools all made for a lovely stay at NRMA umina beach. I do wish every cabin had its own gas BBQ, like all the ones we’ve been to. Even so, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Growing up in South West Rocks for most of my life, I’ve never found anywhere else that made me feel so at home. The resort is gorgeous, the beach breathtaking, and the people friendly and welcoming. The whole place feels comforting. Housekeeping has one quirk: if you’re still in your room, they won’t clean or change the towels, so you have to pick them up yourself. Apparently that’s just their system. Everything else was amazing. There’s a great local pub for family dinners, and they do buffets too, though sadly we missed one this time. The kids loved the bouncing pillow and practically lived on it. You can rent bikes to ride together, and there’s plenty of space for caravans. Our playground house was perfect for keeping an eye on the kids while cooking or relaxing. The electric BBQs work well, along with the ones that come with the accommodation, though we couldn’t quite figure those out. The public one still did the job. An easy 10/10. We’d definitely go again and again.
