There are few, if any, shops nearby, so make sure you plan groceries and meals before heading over. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious with gorgeous hill views, especially while relaxing in the in-room jacuzzi/spa. A beautiful place to get out into nature and enjoy some peace away from city life. Definitely recommend, 10/10.

We had total privacy and enjoyed the peaceful sounds of nature. Drew gave us fantastic service and great suggestions for places to go and things to do. The cottage at Southern Anchorage retreat is a little slice of paradise, with everything you could need, beautiful views, and wildlife visible from all around the cabin, even from the very large, comfortable bed. We also loved the scenery from the hot tub, in a lovely, well-ventilated bathroom with a cool breeze coming through the windows. Highly recommend staying here. We're already looking forward to coming back.

Definitely worth the money. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, and they're happy to share information. Facilities are excellent, and the hot tub looking out over the lush green backdrop is breathtaking. Amazing views and a great escape from the city. Stay more than one night to get the full experience.

The hosts were great, and the accommodation was well equipped and super clean. We had a lovely bath in the jacuzzi, then woke up to kangaroos in the garden. The remote surroundings are absolutely stunning, with plenty to do if you enjoy nature. Thanks again for such a great time!

We loved our stay as part of a walking package. The pickups were reliable and friendly, the cottage cosy and comfortable, and after a hard day of walking the spa was fabulous. A delicious home-cooked meal was delivered to our table. Quiet and comfortable, with views and wildlife. Couldn't ask for more.
