We found the price good for what we got, so we’ll return. The cooked breakfast included in the fare was a great bonus, and the staff were helpful. It was easy to park, and the place was clean and well presented in a very quiet location. The rooms are small, but perfectly adequate for a night. This was our first stay at WP Estate, part of Deakin university and used as a conference facility during the week, with visitors welcome on weekends. One thing to keep in mind: there are several sets of stairs, so access is limited for people with mobility issues.

My continental breakfast was waiting in my room when I arrived, since I had an early checkout, and they accommodated my room request too. Reception provided exceptional customer service. Waurn Ponds Estate was outstanding in every way. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to stay again soon.

The breakfast menu could use more à la carte options, since the selection felt a little limited. Still, I had a positive experience. The food was delicious, and the receptionist and waitress were both attentive and excellent.

Breakfast was included, and the food was genuinely good quality, with things you’d actually want to eat. I’ve paid more elsewhere and had less care and quality than this place offers. The whole property feels like they care about guests and the rooms. Everything was clean, and there was even a real Christmas tree in the dining area. I smelled it before I saw it, which was lovely. We checked in late, but it was easy to find our cozy, comfortable room. The bathroom was classy, and that shower was incredible. It had a big, relaxing rain style head with adjustable settings, not one of those cheap, high pressure jets that sting. 10/10. I’ll definitely be back.
