The location was quiet and felt safe, with everything we wanted to do nearby. We were made to feel at home by the owner, and staying here with the kids was a pleasure. They had rooms of their own, which worked really well for our family.

You can fish for trout across the road by the burbling river, with the Tyenna valley and Mt Field right there too. The cottage was comfy, beautifully looked after, and great value. A fly fisherman's paradise. We had a great time and would happily book a day, a weekend, or even a week.

We had fish and chips on the front porch, listening to the river flowing just across the road. The cottage was in a fantastic spot, with a cute, comfy space indoors. Russell Falls is a beautiful must-see, only a 10-minute drive away, and there's a local berry farm where you can pick raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and more. Two of us missed the raised step to the toilet and tripped, though no harm was done. A sign to watch your step there might help. I'd recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.

The hosts made us feel welcome and did what they could to make our stay comfortable. The house was clean and had a homely feel, so it was a nice experience for our family.

We met the owner at the house, and communication was great. The place was beautiful, clean, and well stocked, with nothing we could complain about. It was also well located for visiting other places of interest.
