William Bay Cottages

The cottage sits tucked away among the trees, and it was lovely inside. It was spotless, with a renovated kitchen stocked with what we needed. We especially liked the roomy lounge, and the bedrooms had lots of space and good quality linen. It worked perfectly for our girls' getaway. There’s also a lovely cafe on site that bakes fresh bread every morning, a nice bonus. We’d definitely come back.

We all loved the chance to switch off here, especially since there was no reception or wifi in the cottage. You could get online at the rec center, which suited us perfectly. The cafe had great food and coffee, too. We stayed as a family of three, my husband, our 15 year old daughter, and me. The cottage was neat, clean, and comfortable, the beds were lovely, and having the fireplace ready for us was a thoughtful touch. Honestly, we could have stayed for a month.

The half hour walk to the beach was a lovely part of our stay. Back at the cottage, it was quiet and private among the trees, and beautifully presented with everything we needed. We'd return to William Bay Cottages if we were in Denmark again.

A walk to the beach is a must. The cottages feel rustic, but they were clean and comfortable, and the log fire made ours especially cosy. We loved being tucked into such a private, almost magical spot among the exquisite peppy trees. I’d have liked real coffee, more tea choices including herbal, a teapot, and somewhere upstairs to hang clothes. Those small things aside, it was almost perfect and left us swooning.
