We came for Anita's Theatre, which is only a couple of minutes away on foot, as are the beach and town centre. The motel was clean, bright and comfortable, and check-in by text and codes worked smoothly. I'd gladly return if it cost less. At $220 a night, it felt steep for a motel, which I've always thought of as a budget option. Concerts and events at the theatre are priced well, but businesses around Thirroul seemed to be charging a lot for their services. See my review of Buck Hamblin.

A decent motel in Thirroul, and I slept quietly and restfully. There was an old-carpet smell in the room that took some getting used to. The shower curtain was old and mouldy, so it could use replacing. Otherwise, a nice stay.

It was easy to find, with the beach close by and cafes and food options nearby. The fish and chip shop was delicious. The place was clean and tidy, with a cool mid-century feel and everything needed for an overnight stay. Really nice atmosphere and a fantastic location.

I stayed in room 10 at the back and didn't hear any road noise. The Deluxe Queen was excellent value, with a large comfortable bed, a spacious apartment and a kitchenette that was genuinely useful. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and you could easily stay here for a week.

Booking.com had a glitch and cancelled our reservation just days before we were due to arrive. The motel staff acted quickly and went above and beyond to help my wife and me through what could have been a very stressful situation. We're grateful for their help and service. Thank you all.
