Oaks Brisbane Woolloongabba Suites

Comfortable beds, with a great choice of pillows, and a fabulous balcony. The rooms are a good size, and having a fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. Oaks Woolloongabba is handy for PA hospital, places to eat, transport and parks, all within walking distance. The staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. Great value, highly recommended!

Jay at the front desk was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help, even though he didn’t know what we were dealing with. We’d booked at the last minute near PA Hospital after my dad was in a serious car accident. The location was perfect and within walking distance. The rooftop pool and two hot tubs were great, and the reception staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful. We booked partly because the pool was wheelchair accessible, but its access was broken during our stay. Getting my 12-year-old son up and down the stairs to the pool and spas was incredibly difficult, so he only got to use them twice over our eight nights. Hopefully it gets fixed before our next stay so we can make more use of it. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfy, and there was AC in both bedrooms and the living area. The kitchen had plenty of cupboards. The train station and bus stop are very close.

Seriously, why stay at Oaks if you miss the one thing you came for? For the second year running, I missed the New Year's Eve fireworks because the lift was locked down and there was no rooftop access, even though they advertised the rooftop as open until 12:30AM. All I got was a lovely view of the smoke once the fireworks were over. Thanks so much, Oaks.
