We had a great start to each day with the breakfast, and the hosts were friendly, helpful, and knew the area well. The room had a large, comfortable bed and an elegant bathroom. Outside, the English cottage style gardens look over the river. Definitely somewhere I’d keep in mind for another stay.

The breakfast was amazing, and the house was so peaceful. We found the price reasonable and the staff really friendly, with lots of good suggestions for places to visit. We spent two nights here and had a lovely time. I’d recommend staying here.

Rachel made us feel as though we were visiting friends, and we had plenty of laughs while hearing about the house’s history and the family tree. We stayed four nights so we could tour the northwest coast and the Tarkine by motorcycle. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and renovated with care to suit the main house. Breakfast was a treat, both the plentiful, tasty cooked meal and the continental spread, which had plenty of choice and was the best I’ve had. Thanks for making the stay so enjoyable. We’ll tell family and friends about it, and would stay again if we return.

A lovely welcome to Tasmania. The hosts were lovely, and the place is well positioned for magnificent walks beside the river, with town and the Table Cape lighthouse only a short drive away.
