Toby Inlet Bed & Breakfast

We stayed two nights as a family of three. The rooms were very clean, but there was junk and stuff all over the property, which wasn’t nice to look at. We weren’t told until the day before arrival that breakfast wasn’t available, and only discovered the spa was out of order when we explored the property after arriving. It was very cold at this time of year, and the heater went out on the first night. I texted the owners after being up all night trying to keep our little one warm because he doesn’t keep blankets on. The heaters were working again right after my message the next morning. We went out for the day, but around midnight the following night they went out again. It seemed like they might be timed. If you get cold, this may not be the place for you. At the very least, I’d expect to be able to leave the heater on at this time of year.

Henrietta and John made our stay much better. They were great hosts, helping us each day with plans, places to visit and where to eat, and they were generally helpful. The bedroom was very cosy, and the amazing home-cooked breakfast left us well fed.

The rooms were clean, and reception was friendly. There wasn’t a breakfast option during our stay, but we did get a complimentary chocolate and biscuit. The toilet paper was surprisingly Quilton. Showers make quite a lot of noise, even when it’s the one in the next room.

Everything we needed, good value, clean and comfortable, with very nice hosts and a beautiful breakfast.
