We spent four hours there in the afternoon, when it was less crowded, and really enjoyed the space. It gets very busy in the morning. There are activities for children of all ages, which made for good family time. The cafe serves good food and coffee, and the Two Cows ice cream is lovely too.

X s c a p e a t t h e C a p e My kids enjoyed every minute, and it’s a good spot for adults too. Spectators get in free, with shade where adults can sit while the kids play. It’s quite pricey per child, so I’d make a whole day of it. There’s plenty to do: water activities and slides, trampolines, Tiki island and Tiki mountain playgrounds, a train ride, laser tag, mini-golf, a maze, Jungle Mountain, and a play pen for little ones. Some older activities could use a bit of TLC, but that didn’t put us off. The kiosk sells food and drinks at reasonable prices, or you can bring your own food. There are gas BBQs, toilets, and lots of parking. If you have younger kids, I’d go on a day with the Comedy Circus Show. The kids were thoroughly entertained, and the guy who sang and played guitar afterwards was great. The live music in the background was a nice bonus.

The water slides were good, but all the other attractions were closed, and it felt like there weren’t enough staff. Tickets are very expensive for what’s available. Food at the cafe cost a lot and the portions were small. The toilets were horrible and dirty, the kids’ play equipment was damaged, and even the cafe bar chairs were broken. This place seriously needs some love. Three stars just for the water slides.

The kids love it, so we’ll keep coming, and the new summer equipment should be fun. The setup for children is superb. Still, the train has been out of action for two weeks, and the coffee needs to be barista quality for a place like this. There were spider webs everywhere, like a Scooby Doo mystery. I hope they clean the place up before summer.

DO NOT GO HERE. It’s dangerous for adults and children. There’s rust and damage all over, and the water park area is run down and disgusting. I saw many health and safety hazards and won’t be coming back. I already tried posting this review once, and it disappeared mysteriously. Please don’t take your children here unless you want them to get hurt by cable tie and tape “maintenance”.
