We were happy with our powered ensuite site in this quiet park, which is in a good spot but away from the middle of town. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. It has what you need, including a pool, laundry and camp kitchen. The ensuite was clean and the shower was good. It could do with an update, though it’s about what you’d expect for a park of this age.

A quiet, clean place with plenty of space for big rigs and shops nearby. There are powered sites, a coded gate and lots of accommodation options. We found it a great base for exploring and have it on our list for next time.

The room itself was clean, tidy and comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. They kindly let us check in early. We enjoyed Yamba and would visit this place again, but the stay was only fairly average because what we got didn’t match what we thought we’d booked. On bookings.com, the listing made it look like we were renting a freestanding holiday bungalow. In reality it was a fairly small, narrow motel-style room. It did meet our needs, but we expected more for the money, and the lack of privacy caught us off guard. This was partly a mismatch in expectations caused by bookings.com overselling the room, though someone needs to take responsibility for how the property is represented there. bookings.com certainly doesn’t. We tried calling the property directly but couldn’t get through. Next time we’ll contact them directly and won’t use a third party.

We visited the Holiday Park in September 2019, and our rental caravan was really clean and tidy. The whole park looked neat and lovely. Sadly, a forest fire broke out nearby, so we left early and couldn’t enjoy the park or stay the night as planned. Even so, we came away with a good impression and would recommend it. Please excuse my English, it’s not very good as I’m from Germany.
