The room itself was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was also in a handy spot near the lake and shops. We’d booked three nights through Travel Actions because it sounded like good value, then paid the full price for an extra night, making four altogether. The booking notes said rooms booked through Travel auctions wouldn’t be serviced and things like milk or towels wouldn’t be replenished unless we paid more. For a four-night stay, that wasn’t a major issue. The heat was the real problem. With temperatures above 30, the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted and never made the room comfortable. We ended up sleeping with the door open and unlocked because the wire door had no lock. When I went to reception to pay for the extra night, their room was pleasantly cool, which felt rather inconsiderate of guests’ comfort. We left two days early because the room was so hot, a real letdown when this was our only getaway of the year. I think it would be fine outside summer.

The car parking setup was much better than at most motels, and the location was really convenient. The room was small and showed a little wear, though it was very clean, everything worked, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It had a toaster and microwave, but plates and cutlery would have been useful. We made do with a plate from an op shop and picnic utensils. I’d stay again.

Audrey and Robert were such caring, welcoming hosts and made us feel at home. The air conditioning was a lifesaver through the 40+ degree days, and the bed was clean and cosy. It’s an amazing location, close to everything. The place is a bit dated, but comfortable and has what you need for a trip to Yarrawonga.

We were looking forward to our trip, but circumstances changed and we cancelled nearly 1.5 months before the booking. They offered half our money back, which I accepted. Almost a month later, I still haven’t received it, despite providing the refund details and sending several follow-up messages for an update. Very poor. I wouldn’t consider booking here again.

Rob and Audrey were accommodating and helpful with what we needed. The room was comfortable and presented really well, and the inn is close to nearby shops and restaurants. We stayed at the Belmore Motor Inn in Yarrawonga from 7th to the 10th of November 2025 and had a great stay.
