There are plenty of activities for families, and the place has lots of greenery and palm trees. Our front door looked out over the pool and BBQ area. Lovely resort.

The rooms have been refreshed, and the resort is good for kids, but finding anyone who can help is difficult. Staff weren’t particularly helpful, and at times there simply seemed to be nobody managing the place. At 3pm we called reception to ask about hiring the air fryer, which the book said was available, to make dinner for our three year old son. They told us reception was closed and to call back after 8am the next day. That’s an example of the service to expect here.

We’ve stayed a few times and absolutely loved it each time. The resort is clean and well maintained, with four great pools, a toddler room and lots of outdoor play areas. It’s a fantastic place to bring kids.

The kids can roam around the resort freely, which feels unusual these days, and there’s a huge range of things to do: a warm indoor pool, sauna, spa, two outdoor pools, tennis courts, mini golf, outdoor bowling, squash, a games room for kids and basketball rings. The grounds are immaculate, the staff are lovely, and it’s a short walk to town. Perfect family holiday destination. Can't fault Murray Valley Resort!
