There was no view, and nothing about this stay gave me the feeling of a vacation or getaway. The property sits off a dirt road behind a fence, with a pool and a few hammocks that looked untidy. We had a hard time finding it. I wouldn't recommend it, and I don't plan to stay at Arawa Kunuku Houses again.

The grounds are spacious, attractive, well maintained, and gated, with a pool and plenty of room to hang out. The host is quick to respond and keen to help. By rental car, a beach is about 15 minutes away, and there are lots of supermarkets nearby. We liked Chengs best. Just be aware it's a multi unit property, so sound carries through the walls.

The garden is beautiful, and there are two pools, one small and one larger with two slides. The king studio was spacious enough for three adults and very clean, even though this was one of the cheapest apartments on the island. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful, though they only speak Spanish. Our one issue was the electric stove, which took a very long time to heat up.
