The engagement is what made our stay at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort so unforgettable. The team surprised us afterward with champagne and the sweetest handwritten letters, which we’ll cherish. A huge thank you to Valery, the event coordinator, who thoughtfully handled every detail and made everything seamless and stress-free. Jennifer at the front desk was just as wonderful, greeting us with warmth and genuine care from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is stunning, its Eagle Beach location can’t be beat, and the service is outstanding. You can feel how much the staff cares about making meaningful experiences for guests. This place will always mean a lot to us. We highly recommend it for a special celebration. Thank you for memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime.

The worst part was a really bad smell when the wind came from the wrong direction, several times a day, like a septic tank. Housekeeping was fantastic, bringing fresh towels and whatever we needed three times a day. The front desk was very friendly and keen to help, too. It’s a small hotel, so most extras are through other businesses. The gym and spa at the next resort charge their own fees. Food is partnered with “Passions on the beach,” where the prices are five-star but the quality is more like a cantina. We tried happy hour cocktails at the horizon, and those were OK.

The first two of our three breakfasts were disappointing: we waited over 50 minutes and the service wasn’t very friendly. The third morning was completely different, with extremely kind staff and a much better experience. I can’t say the same about those first two mornings. Otherwise, we were extremely satisfied. The reception staff were especially kind and helpful, the restaurant was good, and the food was tasty. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed five nights at Amsterdam manor and had a great time. Eagle Beach was our favorite on the island, and it was perfect to be able to walk straight across the street to get there. We tried both resort restaurants, and the poolside one had the best key lime pie I’ve ever had.
