Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort - Adults Only

We stayed for a week in February and would happily come back. It’s a small adults-only beachfront resort, peaceful and quiet, with five-star rooms and service. Our top-notch room was on the Tara side, with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was included each morning and terrific, and the beach chairs and service were great. There are two on-site restaurants with excellent food and service, and the concierge pointed us to several other good restaurants around the island. We also appreciated the focus on sustainability. Lots of happy repeat guests, us included!

The ocean view at breakfast was gorgeous, and the breakfast itself was incredible. Tara and Buccati were lovely, and the service was wonderful from beginning to end. They surprised us with a honeymoon package and helped arrange great excursions, including swimming with turtles and tropical fish. It was a romantic, peaceful, welcoming stay, and we’d absolutely recommend it to honeymooners. Unforgettable.

The team was friendly and helpful from arrival right through checkout, and the service exceeded what we expected. Our room was spacious, very clean, and quiet, and we couldn’t hear other guests inside or by the beach and pool. We were welcomed with champagne, cheese, crackers, and macarons. I have celiac disease, but eating gluten free at the Bucuti & Tara was easy. The menu marked GF items, the fries had a separate fryer, and breakfast had GF choices and its own toaster. Beach service was convenient too: I could choose a chair the night before on the iPad, then use the flag at the chair to order food and drinks. Staff were always around to help, smiling and saying hello as we passed. The food and drinks were delicious, and several coffee shops and restaurants were walkable. We parked our rental car at the hotel for free, though taxis were readily available too. The resort was LGBTQ friendly, which mattered a lot to my wife and me. I’d highly recommend the Bucuti & Tara for a quiet, romantic getaway.

Our honeymoon at Bucuti and Tara was the best resort stay I’ve had. We’re still buzzing now that we’re home. The staff and accommodations made us feel special, and everything felt first class. On the days we stayed in, we loved having our reserved umbrella and chairs on the beach. Breakfast was included and delicious, and the new Restaurant Terra was honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in years. Our Concierge, Kelly, arranged activities and kept our itinerary in order. Her recommendations were fabulous, and we loved every one. We’ll definitely be back!
