The place in Oranjestad was cute, and Tanya was kind and helpful with restaurant suggestions. She also let us know there wasn't much nightlife, with everything closing at 6pm. The city itself is cool, the beaches are beautiful, the wind is steady, locals are nice and fun, and the food is amazing without it feeling too crowded. Taxis can be expensive, so take the trolley. Still, we had no warm or hot water for showers, the bathroom sink was clogged and drained poorly, and there were no sheets for the pull-out couch. Tanya arrived 15 minutes late with the keys. We contacted her at least three times about the sheets, and she finally brought them at 10:30pm, after we'd dealt with the hassle for a while. Service was just okay. If you can afford it, you may want somewhere with hot water and somewhat better service.
