O Condominium Beachfront Residences

Apartment 21 was spacious and modern, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a large balcony. The complex also has its own gym and pool. Eagle Beach is right across the street, and we found the location great. Service was excellent too.

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay, and the staff were attentive. They let us replace our towels every day. The condo was roomy and clean, and several restaurants were close enough to walk to. From the terrace, we had a perfect view of Eagle Beach and the lovely sunset.

We’re in Unit 21 at O Condominiums in Aruba now, and the photos really don’t show what we found. The building is fairly new, but the condo looks worn and needs a deep clean, fresh paint and repairs. There are stains and dents on several walls, what looks like water damage in the main bedroom, a dirty living room couch, a dirty beach towel basket and air filter, and a dirty balcony couch. The A/C in the second bedroom is so loud it’s hard to sleep with it running and needs maintenance. Bocobay seems to be neglecting these condos and mismanaging the place. They first offered to refund the nights we hadn’t used, then changed course and told us to contact Expedia. Expedia took six hours to reply, emailing at 8 PM to ask if we wanted to check out that night. Seriously? Bocobay apparently had no other condo available in the building. At one point they offered a place in a different area, but our friends are staying here. Leaving that late and finding another hotel would have been too much. It’s been a ridiculous experience, especially after this being my fourth trip to Aruba. I’ve never had this many accommodation problems here. Now the stove has broken too, so we can’t even make breakfast. I also saw two female workers washing the pool chairs inside the pool with cleaners and rags.

Bocobay’s hospitality was the best part of our vacation. Two hosts welcomed us, answered all our questions and sent daily suggestions since it was our first time in Aruba. The condos are beautiful and brand new, right across from Eagle Beach, where we swam and watched sunsets every day. Our kitchen had all the cookware, dishes and utensils we needed, and the washer and dryer worked well. We had laundry detergent already, so didn’t need to buy any. The bathrooms are modern with nice showers, and the WiFi worked great. We watched the fireworks from the terrace. We’re from nyc, so a New York NYE is hard to beat, but Aruba put on a spectacular show and we had the best view at O Condominiums. The pool is lovely, with plenty of loungers and a rinse shower for getting the sand off before going inside. It was a fantastic trip, and we’ll definitely be back.
