My stay at Jazmins Apartments was the worst. I refused to extend it when my flight was delayed and stayed at Micheal’s place for a few days instead. He was very respectable and reasonable. Aruba is a great vacation spot, and there are other reasonably priced places if you look. At Jazmins, the room was tiny and the shower only had ice water. They say not to flush tissue, and there’s a posted $20 fee if you dirty a towel. They emailed pictures of a towel I’d used to dry off and accused me of getting it dirty. When I asked if towels weren’t meant for drying, they sent a monkey emoji, which felt racist and was another red flag. Every day I had to clean butter off the rental car windshield. No one spoke English, and the advertised internet was down for the entire week. The pool was a joke, just a big tub of water. The place ruined my first couple of vacation days. I felt they were running a scam with frivolous penalties to get more money from visitors. Avoid it if you want to enjoy your vacation.
