Vistalmar Ocean View Apartments

From March 3rd to March 10th, 2026, my wife and I stayed in Suite 4 at Vistalmar Ocean Suites. I’ve stayed in places around the world, and I was impressed by how well kept everything was. The room was spotless and smelled amazing when we arrived. The appliances were new, and as an engineer I looked around the property. The layout was excellent, and everything from the air conditioning and pools to the laundry facility was so well maintained it looked new. The onsite staff were fantastic and took care of everything we needed. Laura and her helper were amazing, and we always felt welcome and safe. We had a lot of questions at arrival, and owner Angelique Feliciano was incredibly patient and helpful with every one of them. She’s a first-class property owner. The location is awesome, and the dock across the street is a perfect place to watch some of the most beautiful sunsets on the planet. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation where you can unwind, I’d recommend this place to anyone. We’ll return. Thank you again, Angelique, for sharing your wonderful place with us. The modern, minimalist place is spacious and luxurious, with two beautiful pools and a shady spot to retreat to. It’s quiet, serene, and relaxing, with The Fish House, one of the island’s best restaurants, within walking distance. It felt like a home away from home and was a wonderful base to escape the crowds of cruise ship vacationers. You’ll need a rental vehicle, but everything is no more than 25 minutes away. I’ll be back!

I spent an enjoyable month at VistalMar in February. It’s my seventh year in Aruba, but my usual place had been sold or closed. I wanted somewhere away from the high rises and closer to Mangel Halto beach, and this place had its own little ocean access right out front for snorkeling. They even offered a kayak. Recent renovations brought a modern induction cooktop, a good-sized fridge, and a dishwasher. Best of all, I used my room’s private plunge pool almost every day. The two hosts were great and quick to respond on What’s App. I chose to clean my own room, and they promptly exchanged the towels each week. The pool guys kept my pool and the two main pools clean and inviting. I’d happily stay here again.😎

The owner was quick to respond, and the place was clean. Local Fish House is nearby, and guests staying here get 10% off there. We were only here for one night, but it was a good stay. We might come back next time. Make sure you have Whatsapp installed.
