The location makes it easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Such a beautiful place to stay in Aruba. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it!

One night while we were asleep, a huge cockroach bit my husband. We couldn’t sleep again that night, and spent the rest of the trip feeling unsafe. We had to remain there because the owners refused to reimburse us for our unused nights. The owner, Pamela, initially suggested it might not have been a roach, or that we’d brought it in ourselves. She later admitted it was a cockroach, but still offered no fix beyond changing the sheets. Rather than apologize and try to make things right, she blamed us and kept up what felt like gaslighting. The owners were terrible, seemed to care only about profit, and took no responsibility for our wellbeing. On our last day, we found cockroach droppings near the face towels in the bathroom. When I sent a photo to the person managing the property, she first said they weren’t from a roach, then claimed roaches can’t climb tile, which is false. It was more denial and deflection. This ruined our trip. Management was dishonest and irresponsible, with complete disregard for guests. I have other complaints about the property, but this was the main one. If you want to avoid the same experience, stay somewhere else.

Palm Beach is close enough for an easy seven-minute walk, and I felt safe coming back alone at night as a woman who travels solo a lot. The restaurants and bars are nearby too. I stayed at Cariñas for more than a month and was really happy with it. Pam and Mike were great hosts, always ready with answers and local tips, and Marlon was a kind, accommodating manager. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We made good use of the beach chairs every day, and the courtyard with its plants and palm trees was lovely. Carinas was clean, quiet, and felt safe, with the beach about a ten-minute walk away. Marlon, the manager, was friendly and helpful. Pam and Mike, the owners, were there during our stay too and were accommodating and helpful.
