Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino

The staff’s care and flexibility meant a lot when my wife sprained her ankle on the second day. They helped keep her safe, assisted with what she needed and checked in regularly. When we realized an early trip home would be best for her recovery, they understood and let us leave ahead of schedule. We’re extremely grateful. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel welcome and valued. The Hilton Aruba is beautiful, immaculately maintained, with lovely ocean views and a relaxing atmosphere. Despite the unexpected situation, we left appreciative of the team’s empathy, responsiveness and dedication to guests. We can’t recommend the resort highly enough and hope to return under better circumstances.

We spent 6 days and 5 nights here as a family of four and enjoyed our stay overall. Silvia and Elton were phenomenal, always on top of questions, concerns or requests. The breakfast staff were great too, except for one day when the service was awful, which was also the only day we sat inside. We had several issues with the beach staff. There were lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance, which the whole family enjoyed. We rated the stay 4.5 and rounded it up to 5.

The casino is clean, fun, and in a great spot. We always enjoy coming back to play roulette, and I highly recommend it. The real standout this time was Patrick, the night security guard at the lobby entrance. He was warm and welcoming, went out of his way to help, found taxis, and sorted out problems quickly even under pressure. Thanks, Patrick. I hope this gets shared with him.

The location worked well for us, close to restaurants, shopping, and activities. After years of staying at Marriott and Airbnbs, that was a plus. We had a car and convenient free parking not far from our Curacao lobby. We’d consider coming back, though we’d compare nearby options first. Our room faced away from the construction, but was at the street end of the tower. We could hear some nightlife music, as others have mentioned, but it didn’t keep us awake. Staff across the hotel were accommodating, and room service did a wonderful job each day. The beach was spacious. We avoided renting a palapa by going in the afternoon, when plenty were open. Maybe it depends on the time of year, I’m not sure. The beachside bar wasn’t for us. We saw staff criticizing customers as they came and went, which didn’t sit well with me given that I work in customer service. The grounds were mostly tidy, but I often saw litter and debris left on the ground, even with employees nearby. I wish someone were assigned to walk around and pick it up, including cans by the security guards, in the sand, and in the flower beds. The casino didn’t make much of an impression, and we didn’t eat any meals at the hotel. Bar service charges were a concern.
