Hotel Riu Palace Antillas - Adults Only - All Inclusive

The views from our balcony were one of the best parts of our stay. We were in an Oceanview Junior Suite on the 18th floor, and the lagoon and ocean looked stunning, especially at sunset. I’d suggest asking for an even-numbered room on a higher floor. At first we were placed overlooking the RIU Palace lobby, but the front desk said we could move to an Oceanview room on day 2 and followed through, giving us a suite with a much better view. The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk team made things easy from arrival. We found plenty to eat at the all-inclusive restaurants, and the option to visit the sister property, RIU Palace Aruba, next door was a bonus. The crab cakes at the Arubian Restaurant and the Steakhouse were standout appetizers. The steaks and red meat were good at the specialty restaurants and the buffet carving stations. At the Antillas lobby bar, the crew were quick and personable, and remembered our drinks after one night. We also enjoyed espresso martinis at the RIU Palace Aruba lobby bar. There was always something going on. The Neon Party was fun, though the Aruban heat on the dance floor was no joke. We spent a few nights at the on-site Pacha Disco, where drinks were included in the package. The pools were great, but being right on Palm Beach was the real highlight, especially for long morning walks. We also went off property for an Arikok National Park Jeep Tour, which took us to see the island’s rugged, desert-like landscape, including the Natural Pool and Baby Beach. At De Palm Island, we got a day pass with a premium seating upgrade. The private shaded loungers and front-row view of the flamingos were worth every penny, and the snorkeling was some of the best we’ve done, with lots of fish just off shore. My husband and I spent a week at the RIU Palace Antillas in Palm Beach in September 2024. It was one of our favorite Caribbean getaways, and the “One Happy Island” lived up to the hype. We’d return in a heartbeat.

This was our second stay, and we’ll definitely be back soon. The beach is the best, and Palm Beach village is about a 10-minute walk away, with lots of restaurants and really good live music. Our room was very clean, and the kitchen was restocked regularly. The buffet had a great variety, and drinks were strong everywhere. We spent plenty of time at the pool bar, a fun place to hang out, people-watch, and meet others.

We got Elite Club access and stayed in room 1502, near the top of the building and facing the beach. The suite was clean and comfortable, and the food and drinks were delicious. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and Palm Beach was excellent too. Aruba is a beautiful, happy island, and the Riu Palace Antillas is top notch. We’d definitely return.

The room was very nice, and we had great service from very friendly, accommodating staff. The food and location were excellent, and the beach was beautiful. There were a couple of room issues: the entire door assembly had to be replaced after a day of use, and during servicing they missed replacing the towels and refilling the fridge.
