The setting is quiet and dark enough that the courtyard gives you an amazing view of the stars, with no city lights in the way. It’s a lovely spot out in the countryside beyond San Nicolaas, though it isn’t fancy. The apartments work especially well if you’re staying longer and want a kitchenette, just remember to bring your own bathroom toiletries. Handy for getting around too: Kamini's Kitchen is 3 minutes away, San Nicolaas, O'Neil's, Charlie's and Boca Grandi are 5 minutes, and Baby Beach and ZeeRover are 10. Good base for kiteboarding, windsurfing, biking, and exploring.

Arnold is a relaxed owner and a kite instructor, and he helped make the holiday great. Boca Grandi is a kiter’s paradise, and Grapefield Beach is worth checking out too. There are four roomy apartments with everything you need, and it’s useful for more than just kiters. I liked the thermostatic shower tap and how quiet the bedroom air conditioning was. The WiFi is fast, and out back you can rinse kite gear with a hose or relax on the sun loungers. Shops and restaurants are a five-minute drive away. Thanks, Arnold, for a wonderful holiday!
