Lahic Hostel

Rashid, who takes care of the property, was extremely welcoming and polite, even though he doesn't speak English. The house is old and has a rural feel, but it was clean and cozy. It's a little way inside the city, about a 10-minute walk from the markets.

The owner is very nice, and breakfast was good. It's a pleasant, inexpensive hostel close to the center of lahic, and getting there by car is relatively easy compared with other B&Bs in Lahic. Check the access before booking, though, since the cobblestone roads have plenty of potholes.

For the price, this was a perfectly adequate place to stay, and I spent two nights there. My room was spacious and had a balcony, and the place was pretty clean despite the building being old and worn out. The owner was very hospitable, though he didn't speak English. I had been a little worried after seeing some bad reviews, but this was the cheapest accommodation I could find in Lahic. Just don't expect a hotel.

The setting felt very local, and it was adorable watching some old men play games in front of the hostel/hotel. The owner was kind and so helpful. We couldn't really communicate, so we relied on hand gestures, but they did their best to make my experience a good one. I'd definitely go again! One thing, breakfast and dinner are a bit expensive, so I'd skip them.
