Nice beach. It cost 25 manat, including a towel, lounge chair, and umbrella. My friends ordered watermelon and it was okay. The toilets smelled unpleasant, and the lockers and showers were primitive. I didn’t like the people selling corn on the cob by shouting.

The views were breathtaking, the resort facilities were well kept, and breakfast each morning was delicious. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and even though we arrived at short notice, they made us comfortable right away. Tehran deserves a special thank you for his wonderful hospitality. Most staff speak English, which made communication easy. A relaxing and enjoyable getaway, highly recommended.

The beach is beautiful, the pools are clean, and the staff and service were great. The resort is around a 10 to 15 minute drive from the centre. Our only problem was keeping the room cool. It was really big, but the AC vent wasn’t near the beds, so it felt a bit hot. The curtains were also very thin, and bright morning sunlight disturbed us.

The resort is quite far from downtown Baku, which made it inconvenient for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was another disappointment, with very few options, and I think more variety would make a big difference. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and housekeeping did a great job with daily cleaning. So the Aysberg Resort has some good points, but the distance from the centre and limited breakfast choices were significant drawbacks. With some improvements, it could be a more enjoyable stay.

I couldn’t use the pool because it didn’t look clean enough. There are separate pools for adults and children, but kids can enter the adults’ pool without anyone controlling it, and there was no pool attendant. The sun loungers were all dirty, changing rooms weren’t very clean, and every locker was broken. Before entering, security asks if you’re staying at the hotel or just visiting the restaurant and pool. If you’re not a hotel guest, they charge 15 manats, about 8.8 dollars, per person for a sun lounger, umbrella, and other pool items. Towels cost 5 manats each, with a 10 manat deposit if you don’t bring your own. There was a food menu, but several fish dishes I tried to order weren’t available. The server said the kitchen was very busy and anything I ordered would take over an hour. All he could offer was French fries and lemonade, with an 18 minute wait. Bad experience, wouldn’t recommend for a weekend.
