This happened on the night of October 31, 2023. The receptionist behaved terribly, swore at us, and smoked while dealing with us at the counter. He first gave us rooms, then said he would charge more than we had agreed. He seemed to think he owned the hotel, and made racist remarks, calling us “Bad Asians.” Please avoid this hotel if you're in Baku.

The new receptionist was friendly and gave us helpful information about Sheki and the area. We used Google Translate to communicate. But the first receptionist wasn't honest when we asked how to get to Sheki by public transport. He said there wasn't any and that Smile tour, which he recommended, was the only option. The hotel should keep small change for cash payments. What bothered us most was that the hotel guy never gave our change back.

The room was filthy, from the carpet and walls to the washroom. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Getting around was easy, with markets and city transport close by. The hotel itself was clean and very nice, and the staff were friendly.

A comfortable, quiet restaurant with good hospitality all around. Parking was very good too.
