We were there in peak season, when the town had no good hotels left, so we had to stay here. The rooms were very basic and had no air conditioning, though they looked better than the photos on Booking.com. We got a two-room suite for the standard-room price, then were charged extra for breakfast, which seemed odd. The location is great. From here, it's a lovely walk through Agcay, with loads of good tea and coffee shops. Across the street at Berg, you can take the kids to the pool cheaply without checking in.

The food was delicious, and prices were about 25-30% lower than at other restaurants nearby. The one drawback was that they didn't have a card payment terminal.

We paid 80 manat for a Booking.com reservation for four people for two nights and got the receipt by email. After our first night, they made us check out at 1 a.m., even though we were the only guests. They said Booking had shown the amount incorrectly and that it was for one night.

We only stayed one night. The room was warm, there was no water issue, and dinner was reasonably priced. But the bed was really uncomfortable, and the room had a strange smell, as if the ventilation wasn't working properly.
