With mountains and forest all around, the setting is spectacular, and the hotel itself looks beautiful. Our room was clean and housekeeping was very good. Breakfast comes with the room rate, though the restaurant prices felt more like those at a luxury European brand resort, and were very high.

The river walk and bridge leading toward the mountain area were lovely, and there’s a pool and kids’ play area too. It’s a private property between the mountains, about a 3-hour drive from Baku. The rooms were nice and clean, with air conditioning, an elevator, and warm water. There are indoor and outdoor restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful, but couldn’t speak English, and the food menu wasn’t in English or illustrated, which made ordering difficult. Breakfast is a set menu served from 9am, a little late for us, with eggs, cheese, sausage, jam, and tea.

The view was perfect, and it’s a calm, relaxing area with access to the river. Our room was clean, though it had a bit of a smell. Breakfast was basic.

Ibrahim was amazing and very helpful. The restaurant service was very bad, though, with the food taking a long time to arrive. The rest of the restaurant staff were okay.
