The location is the one thing this hotel has going for it. The room itself was dusty, including the glasses for water, and the sheets felt cheap and scratchy. Even the bin had a broken lid. We also had smoke coming in from the neighbors, so the room smelled of it the whole time. Friends in a cottage dealt with ants and a bathroom that smelled like sewage. Breakfast was tiny, and when something ran out, even bread, they didn't bring more. The temperature controls were another problem. The thermostat did nothing, and the air conditioning didn't come on until 9 PM. After that, it only cooled the room to 24 degrees regardless of the setting. A five-star place should let you control the room temperature. This just doesn't feel like a five-star hotel, and I wouldn't recommend staying here for the experience.

The staff didn't feel friendly when I stayed. They seemed almost scared. The room was also uncomfortably warm and stuffy: the hotel has an old heating and air conditioning setup where only one can run at a time, and on September 21st the air conditioning was off despite the hot weather. There was nothing I could do about it. I was glad to be leaving after a day, since morning sun coming through the window made the temperature intolerable.

The outside looks very beautiful, but the value doesn't match reality. My room was dusty and had insects, and the internet connection was terrible. Breakfast was very poor, just cheese, butter, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

The staff were the best part for me. Everyone was extremely cooperative and did their best, and the hotel provided all the services I needed. The rooms and services also make this one of the most beautiful hotels in the area. I'd advise anyone heading to that area to stay here.

The walls between rooms are so thin that we could hear every conversation next door. Outside, music from the park was loud enough that we couldn't sit quietly in our rooms. We asked several times for the music to be turned off, but got no response. A complete disaster.
