The location is nice, but we could hear the neighbours clearly through the walls. The ventilation also kept bringing bad air from a smoker into our room. Our room had just been renovated on a low budget, and some basics, like bedside lamps, were missing. At 10 am, the cleaning staff made it clear we should be leaving.

There’s a terrace by the riverbank, though watch your step on the stairs because it’s easy to slip down them. You can get a good Bosnian breakfast here for a small extra charge. Alibi Motel is a small, recommended accommodation on the edge of Banja Luka, and the city is an easy five-minute drive away. We stayed for one day, so it seems better suited to a short trip. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. We had two nice, modern, very clean rooms with shower rooms, and the staff were very friendly. The place also feels very private. We can recommend it for a short stay.

The host still gave us a room even though we arrived during the night, and we’re very thankful for that. It has everything you need, though it isn’t especially cosy. It’s next to a restaurant, which is right by a beautiful river.
