Paviljon Hotel

The outside restaurant draws plenty of locals and tourists, and it isn't expensive. Evening staff were young and lively. Breakfast, included in the price, was an uninspired buffet but all right. The hotel feels dated, like it's stuck in the 70s or 80s, though it's clean. Our room was cool and dry, with no mosquitoes while we were there. The hotel sits on a bastion of the city walls, right on the Una as it runs through Bihac, Bosnia-Herzogovinia. The river view from the three terrace rooms, 102, 104 and 106, is wonderful, though those rooms are a bit cramped. We were even allowed to take drinks up from the bar. Highly recommended.

We only came for food, twice, so I can't comment on the rooms. Everything was decent and fairly priced. Don't wait for someone to seat you, just pick an empty table and sit down.

The restaurant was full of insects, and the music was far too loud. The service was terrible and very unfriendly from the start, with no greeting when we arrived and the menu simply tossed onto the table. They brought the wrong pizza twice, then argued that we'd ordered it that way. The second time, it was the same incorrect pizza after a 10-minute wait from the kitchen.

The view was great, and the food was absolutely wonderful. Bojan, our waiter, was the nicest guy I've ever met. Definitely five stars, strongly recommend!
