Motel Zoka

There's plenty of parking in front of the motel, by the restaurant. The place was easy to find, the owner was relaxed, and it was quiet. My room was spacious. You do have to wait a while for the hot water to heat up, but that's fine.

Small hotel, super cozy, and the service has a nice touch.

I was the only guest on the second floor, and the motel was nearly empty, so I don't understand why they put me in room 8, the farthest one up there. Maybe I got the worst room. It was so tiny I could barely move around the bed. The window was almost impossible to open, with its lower edge right against the mattress. The bed had bricks behind it, and there were cobwebs, spiders, and dust everywhere. Mosquitoes kept me awake most of the night, even with the window net, and I also saw spiders and cockroach-like bugs all over. When it rained overnight, water came through the ceiling into the room. I had every window shut, but could still hear every car on the road, even though mine faced the back. Wi-Fi from the first floor barely worked in my room. The toilet was so cramped that anyone a bit taller or bigger than me wouldn't fit, and the shower was a tiny corner. The door wouldn't stay shut unless it was locked. A complete disaster!

For the price, the room and the rest of the place were decent. It was clean and tidy, and the landlady was kind and very helpful.
