The food was bad, and the fries were cold, greasy and hard, as if they’d been made two days earlier. Our bill also included things we hadn’t ordered. Service was painfully slow, no one spoke English, and the whole old, dirty restaurant allowed smoking everywhere. You can’t pay by card. I’d never come back.

The setting by the water is beautiful, but the meal was awful. We waited ages, then got stone-cold chicken and fries for my husband, with hard, fatty bits throughout. My veal brisket was so tough I couldn’t cut it, and my fries were cold and greasy too. We strongly advise against eating here.

The food was very good, which may be why it took a while to arrive. We also had to wait a bit to order. The restaurant is in an amazing spot beside what they say is Europe’s coldest river, and they provide blankets if you get chilly. The staff were friendly. I’d recommend it!

We stopped in by chance and had a lovely, relaxed dinner. The outdoor tables overlooking the river were the real highlight, and the kids had a great time taking off their shoes and paddling in the water. We all enjoyed the fish platter too.

The river view is gorgeous, and the place has real soul. We loved the fish dishes, the service was splendid, and Hamza is the best guy!
