Villa Mimoza Blagaj

Villa Mimoza was a great time! It’s big enough for a larger group, so I’d recommend it for that. The pool and rooms were clean, and the host was so nice.

The host was super nice and took care of all our needs. The apartments are large, very clean, and stocked with everything you might need. The pool’s big enough for some diving fun. Big recommendation all around.

We paid in advance to rent the whole villa Mimoza for a group of about twenty, with overnight accommodation for around ten. Instead, on arrival we were given only the first floor. The owner said he lived downstairs, although we had agreed nobody else would be in the villa. There were other guests there too, and he asked them to leave. The pool water and the rest of the place were extremely dirty. The tavern was in such bad shape that we had to clean it ourselves, and the grill was so filthy we brought our own. I believe the owner called the police, who warned us even though we weren't making noise or bothering anyone besides him. Around 00:30, we were made to leave despite having paid and agreed to stay overnight. Worst rental experience. If I could give less than one star, I would. I don't want anyone else to fall victim to what I see as this man's scam. Avoid this place.

We'd booked two days in July, but when we arrived the owner took us somewhere else, saying the pool wasn't working. That place was awful: dirty, with a pool and air conditioning that didn't work. When we asked him to honor our reservation, he made all sorts of excuses and moved us to another apartment without the same amenities. My partner, who made the booking, is of Bosnian origin. It seemed to us that the owner wanted to fob him off quickly so he could give the apartment to a different group who had asked for it. Disgusting.
